Questions About VIN Swapping. Okay.. Let's see if I can explain this in the quickest way possible. Started with a 411 PCM from a 2000 truck. I licensed the PCM and began tuning. Everything is good with the tune/truck/programming until I swapped in electric fans. Figured out the O/S that was on the original PCM could not properly run the fans.It seems like doing a write entire on the 0411 out of the suburban worked fine, though the truck cranks with no start so I probably missed a wire.
