Its been said the Glennies shoot more accurately than the 336's because of the fore arm end cap. I can't speak to that really, but they have turned me into a Marlin fan. There is still plenty of rifling left so it hasn't been used that much. It comes with a Japanese made scope that is Glenfield branded and is very clear.I have a Marlin, Win And a Rem 788 30/30. When I Run Factory ammo over my Chrony they are all Close the Marlin is on average 30fps faster than the 94 the 788 with it's 22' Barrel is 30 fps faster than the 30 Glenfeild Marlin.
