Voidforge is a solid choice, but I would mix and match pieces from various sets if I were you so that all 5 pieces provide the same bonus (which ever your thrall needs most, damage or health). The only armor I use star metal for is the silent Legion redeemed chest plate. As for DLCs the only one worth getting in my opinion is isles of siptah.
