Act 1 - Spoilers. So I started a new run of BG3 with the idea of a Paladin Oathbreaker in mind, complemented by a Dark Urge run. The main idea was that I would start as a full paladin but have my oath broken due to the murder of Alfira and go down a path of redemption. 1 long rest later, Alfira is dead and I am still a devoted paladin.
EDIT: Oathbreaker Knight does go away after you take a long rest. For me he disappeared after another long rest. Apparently as a vengeance paladin you break your oath if you let the hag live for the additional +1 stat. Nope. Once you break your oath he will always be there.
