5 posts · Joined 2020. #3 · Feb 12, 2021. Last night I removed the shift cable on the engine side and shifted it by hand and the problem still exists, so that eliminates a cable issue. I then took that cover off to make sure the roller hadn't come off the pawl arm and that the spring pushing against the arm was still there and complete.

Mine would pop up, and out with a lot of force. I adjusted the striker out and down to help but it didnt have enough movement to gain what I needed. This is my first side by side and I love it so far! Its old and beat up but I got a parts ranger with it so ive been swapping some parts over. I mainly use the machine for plowing. last year during the summer, went for a rip with a buddy, hit a puddle and it dies. Took awhile to start and eventually it went. used the following season to plow with no issues.
Brand new ranger 150 issues. Just had a new ranger 150 delivered for my sons birthday and there is a loud squeak coming from the front with significant intermittent loss of power and also occasional check engine light. Ranger will not start without help from fluid or gas. I’m not throwing any codes. Once I help it start it will run fine. Have to help it start everytime. No loss of power or bogging. Manual says "The louver temperature should be approx 15 degrees F (9 C) lower than ambient temp, depending on humidity in the air."

After it’s sat overnight, I get the 6 green light code on the SEVCON. I can disconnect the batteries and wait for an hour, then reconnect the batteries to fix the problem.
Dealer said that whoever at Polaris didn't snap the connector together properly, and while trail riding in the Black Hills, it finally came apart. It turns out that the alternator, and the belt that runs between the a/c and alternator was just fine. I think I fried my ECM, 2016 ranger 6x6 Guys, I was putting a fused power cable direct to my battery and I arced my wrench from postive to I am assuming the computer, just for a second now it will not start I am supposed to go hunting in the morning. 2016 Ranger 900 XP Ground Issues. New to the forum and this is my first post. Last night I was out checking water tanks and mineral tubs on the Polaris. I shut off the machine to do a few things. When I went to start it up again it would not even turn over. The dash display was blank and there was a clicking under seat coming from the EFI relay.
