2015. Engine. 3.0 Eco diesel. I have a 2015 ram 1500 with 3.0L ecodiesel. I think I have a problem with my EGR valve. For some months ago, my intake cought fire. It was repaired, and now my truck wont go right. When I idle, max rpm I get when i press the throttle to the bottom is about 2800 rpm. It also has little power when I drive.

I asked this in the ecodiesel forum also but I thought I would put it here also. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has the same engine, I believe. There are not nearly as many blown, damaged engines in the JGC. Hello. I had the same issue. Intermittent. One day no or little heat the next trip lots of heat. Took it to the dealer and they said a partial clogged heater core. 2014 ram eco.
