From all my research when I took the NCLEX a year ago, is that the "good" pop up is pretty accurate, almost 100%. Bad pop up is slightly less accurate and there is still a small chance of passing. The pop up score is based on individual performance in each area covered on the NCLEX, so it can be misleading if you are not confident in all areas.
