If I designed it the crank stub would stick down to below the pto sheave. Then just a short bolt to hold the clutch and TD sheave up against the crank shoulder. Like.

Reason being, they're specifically designed for thicker, more woody vegetation. They have thick blades. You "can" replace the thicker blades with thinner blades and your cutting in taller grasses will improve dramatically - just don't hit any stumps, logs or rocks! Also get a 003941.14 at times. Both require the mower to be shut off and restarted to clear. Seems to start after mowing at least an hour.
