Hodgdon's reloading site shows 1680 fps for a 13.4 grain starting load with Lil' Gun (this is for a 180 gr. bullet). So, I will probably load a few at 10.0 grains and a few at 11.0 and see how they shoot. For the 220 gr. round, it says 8.4 grains is max @ 1062 fps. All these sites seem to be on the conservative side.

I have been using 110 grain Vmax and 115 grain Lehigh Controlled Chaos. So far I think they have been good options. I would like to keep it around the $0.50/bullet range as I can shoot a lot if I get into a big group. Reloading is a prime option to feed your 300 Blackout and save some money. To that end, we’re providing a few favorite loads you may wish to try yourself. Basically, the 300 AAC Blackout (300 BLK) is a .300 Whisper with a longer chamber throat lead. The .300 Whisper’s throat measures .050, while the 300 BLK measures .100 of an inch.
