When you move up from an LCP to something the size of a Glock 42, .380 can be a real pleasure to shoot. The P365 is virtually the same length and height as the Glock 42. The overall length is where we see a big difference and the Glock 43X is 6.5 inches compared to the P365’s much shorter 5.8 inches. The Glock also weighs 23.07 ounces compared to the lighter P365 which weighs 17.8 ounces.

However the Glock 42 is cheaper, I trust its reliability and safety more, and I could get a striker control device which I would prefer over the 365-380s manual safety. I'd imagine the 42 would conceal ever so slightly better as its marginally thinner. Slide Lock Glock 42 vs LCP. The slide lock on the Glock 42 sits the furthest forward out of any of these. The P365 shoots 9mm very well. I bet in .380 it would be even better. I have both and find the Sig 380 has less recoil than the G42.
