The Remarkable 2 lags behind other devices in one critical area: storage. With just over 6GB, it’s well behind the Supernote’s 32 GB and the iPad’s max of 128 GB. As the testing by Voja at my deep guide shows, Supernote is very nearly the best in that respect. Also, the fact that the SuperNote pens are everlasting is a big plus. Especially when you consider that replacement nibs for Boox devices are $25 per box. Yet, Voya's daily driver is the Boox Air!

Side note: I see the A5X is currently sold out as they prepare to release their newest model this quarter. I imagine it could have a new name by then. They do have an option to buy an old. Box unit, though. Overall, I think I’m leaning towards Supernote, but I like the idea of how much more you can do with the Boox outside of notetaking.

Both have their pros and cons. From my point of view, the SN has a better writting feel, better battery, better software support, better UI and UX and better hardware quality. On the other hand, Boox is running Android which means it should be more open and it has 128gb of expandable storage. If you mainly want to take notes and organize them then take the A6X. If you want to go on the internet take the nova air. For the ghosting both have a way to refresh the screen to get rid of it but nova air ghost more in speed mode than the supernote. Why I bought the Supernote again when my original expectations weren’t met? I wanted a modern Android OS. Supernote's Chauvet is based on Android 8.1 BOOX NoteAir2 is based on Android 11 Supernote is not (yet) designed for corporate networks and cloud services I wanted one device to rule them all (planning, notetaking, tasks, projects, etc).

One thing you need to pay attention to is that nova has a 7.8'' screen, I think if you want a professional PDF reading/working experience, larger screens will definitely be better choices. But if you just want to do some reading/working on the go, or you need to carry your device to different places very frequently, then nova is a good choice.
