Stay in SXM whenever. It's really not that big of a deal. Anguilla is overwhelmingly the better of the two locations but it's fun to explore new places and try new things. We stayed in SXM for the last days of our vacation and I don't regret it. It made the travel home MUCH easier and MUCH shorter, especially being with a 4 year old. 4. We went through regular security on Sundays in May/June, and while the line was long it was calm and you made steady progress; it took about 30-45 mins to be through and into the food court. It now appears that March 30 is the first bookable date, but until very recently March 1 was the date. Most of the parking is at the side of the road, so you have cars backing in and out of traffic.
