It's like .1 octane difference between e50 and e85. Its not octane as much as cylinder cooling with additional fuel that make the higher percentages slightly beneficial. Sure you can put bigger turbos on and make more power or run a smaller motor but a 427 with this setup would be a great street setup. Great low end and top end.

I don't work on big power methanol/alky motors. Most were oem applications turbo setups where people ditch gaskets and hope for the best with RTV.
