Using the passenger side switch to reset it, just put it half way up and stop, then pull all the way up and hold the switch until it stops.
Nov 2, 2023 · Go to the pass door, roll the window down, then roll all the way up and hold the button for a couple seconds. That should fix it. It's in the manual somewhere, but I read about it here. It's love that makes a Subaru, not necessarily a logical user experience. Parts left out cost nothing and create no service problems. Next, I stop the engine. turn back to ON without starting, and try again. The re-calibration / reset fails to work again. The window always reverses and goes to the half-up position. Finally, I open and close the passenger door and try again.
