Looking at the new DT2 rings, the Ring of True Shadow is clearly meant to be the upgraded Warrior's ring (whether it uses the Warrior's ring or not), which only gives slash accuracy and no strength bonus. The Warriors ring is already super dead content, slash accuracy without strength bonus just isn't relevant anywhere.
