Ark survival ascended tether distance fix.
On PC the tether has a slider, the default is 1.0 which is about 200m which is awful, and the slider goes up to 3.0, which is about 700m which is usually alright but if the host dies everyone ends up being teleported to them which can really suck. You can also go higher by entering a number in the field beside the slider.

It was getting very low FPS though. So I changed it back and the FPS went from a terrible 5 - 20 to pretty consistent 40. So for those that tried this to fix the crashes, you might want to try going back to DX12, it is now not crashing (that I saw in a 5 minute test) and works much better. #3.

Multiplayer launched from within the game itself is still limited by the tether distance. I think you can have even more than 2 player, but it is limited by the tether.
