Paul was clear that he did not like MJ allowing Beatle tracks in commercials and that the Beatles made it a point of staying away from that. He has gotten the rights back, though, along with Sony, and I have heard Beatle songs in commercials, so he must have changed his mind somewhere along the line.The Beatles didn't approve it.
