Unless you have like a 3 CP squad (becuz with 4, no armor hence no bonus) or your warframe can strip armor (again, partial strip, not complete strip), then radiation is better. With corrosive, the status chance is doing the armor stripping. Therefore, it doesn't require external armor strip (CP, ability), so it is generally good for any sitation.

Corrosive has no bonuses versus Corpus (-50% versus Proto-Shield), while Radiation at least has +25% versus robotics (With only a -25% to normal Shields), and most Grineer having alloy.
