The CZ 712 has the recoil spring in the forend, the 912 has it in the butstock. The 712 for end is fatter due to the spring being there, the 712 finish is matte. The 912 is slimmer, and more modern looking. It really boils down to the one you like the best. I like the 912 because of the looks of it.

The 712 and up are made by Huglo, which is a fantastic shotgun manufacturer. Turkey is just like the US, they have good manufacturers and shit ones. The shit ones got to the states first and gave all of Turkey a bad name.
