Like I said you might be better off just buying a new modem, returning the panoramic back to Cox and getting a router also unless you get a combo. Also make sure if you want to ensure the proper speed to get a modem that has DOCSIS 3.1 if you get one that is 3.0 there could be incompatibility issues or or you may experience speed issues
