Star citizen scan not working.
QUESTION. I have the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, my computer recognizes that it’s connected but it’s as if Star Citizen doesn’t recognize it. I can’t change any bindings, my ship doesn’t react to any movements on the joystick. I selected the warthog in the control profile and still nothing works.

L5 doesn't have a refinery. You need to visit an L1 station with a refinery deck. This is a known bug, sometimes relogging helps. I just bounce back and forth between ore sales kiosks and eventually it shows up in the dropdown. As others have said there is only refineries at L1 stations (plus HUR L2).

The trick was in the advanced control settings of Star Citizen to not use the "Gamepad" setting but the HOTAS/HOSAS settings when mapping your buttons / axis. If you just hop out of the roc and manually pick up a single gem you can get back in and extract away. Found that out after getting so annoyed I just grabbed a few and tried again.
