So I've heard that aussie weapons aren't actually Australium, just gold (minus the items that are actually called gold, and the Saxxy), is this actually true lore wise? I haven't read the comics or looked into it too much yet so thought I'd ask. People with australium weapons are often the ones who grind MvM or spend a lot of time trading, not practice regular TF2 gameplay. Maybe that's why.
