Just bought an A300 Ultima 20ga a couple weeks ago for a late season pheasant trip. The gun functioned flawlessly with both 2 3/4 and 3" shells and it's light weight made it easy to carry. The only problem is whenI shoot the forend pulls away from the receiver.

Far from being a new and unproven design, the A300 Ultima has been in the field as a sporting shotgun for more than a year. It has already earned a reputation for being a reliable performer. Plus, it’s a Beretta. A couple of tips: Manually cock the hammer and apply the safety before inserting the trigger assembly into the receiver. Also, retract the bolt and lock it to the rear before installing the barrel, the gas system parts, and the forend. Again, be sure the gas system parts are installed correctly.
