Underneath the hood, install a fan or two in the black panel plastic panel that covers the underside of the gauges. Sold mine with 9000 miles on it in 2015 (2012 that I bought brand new) never had 1 issue. I changed the chain case every 1200 miles lubed and adjusted the track every other ride and adjusted the belt when needed. Never even changed the plugs.

If the primary clutch is kept from getting too hot the grease lasts the 600 hours no problem. When the motor gets too hot the life span goes down.
