This is really a heck of a gun for $240!!!! As far as Hatfield, I bought a 28ga. just before last dove season. Sent it back to them after only one week of trying to get it even load a shell. Measured the chamber and it was only drilled but not reamed to size. Was -.015" undersize and very rough finish!!!! The shell comes from the magazine tube and goes between the breech bolt and the shell lifter. I have seen this happen on several guns, Franchi 48AL, Remington 58 and 1100.
