It's kind of a waste of time. However LECOM isn't even a school worth considering over 99% of MD schools. If OP had said OU-HCOM vs Wright State, I could understand that since the DO school is cheaper, has strong in state residency bias and its a public school supported by the state.

I think the idea is that the earlier you send it, the earlier you are complete and can get an interview. Earlier interviews may have a better chance of acceptance. With time, the amount of seats available diminishes. So getting your application in early gives you a better chance. Do the best you can to submit it as soon as possible!
