The undergraduate program is admittedly variable (some dept like HPS and Neuro are very good though). The honors college is like having a really interesting second family. The difficulty is plenty if you take the right classes.The Psych major is very popular at Pitt. A lot of pre-meds take it as well as non pre-meds. Pitt does not offer a Psych minor at the main campus. Notably, the PhD Psych program (as well as PhD Philosophy) are highly regarded. CWRU , of the 4, seems like the outlier. Purdue, Pitt, and VT are biĝger and have big sports programs. Pittsburgh is a great city. I grew up there so am biased. A son went to VT for engineering. Blacksburg is a great college town. Check how easy it would be to get there from Texas if that is a concern. Purdue and CWRU also great choices.
