This has been happening to me for months. They changed the valve body and still not fixed. 28000 miles on my Limited and it locks in 3rd or slams hard into 4th. I have to shut off the truck and restart. Still happens almost every time it goes from 3rd to 4th. Now it is having a hard time going into reverse.T. Problem is the shift solenoid is in 1st gear now while the truck is in park up on ramps.
