As for line, I’m a fan of the WF (weight forward) Lines, floating for a 2w. With so many lines on the market, they can really vary in price. With the design and typical use of a short 2w like the Little River, I wouldn’t suggest a ton of backing since this isn’t really a distance rod, but more of a finesse.
